“Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher; “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.” (Ecclesiastes 1:2)

Vanity, according to King Solomon, is what we see every day. All the earthly goods, wealth, and all things materialistic in this world are seen as vain. But how do we come to this acknowledgement? And what comes after the acknowledgement that all is vanity? If all is vanity then what is not vanity, and how do we live with the realisation?

Bishoy Tawadrous offers a nice contemplation on vanity.
